Mission

We desire that each person coming into contact with this ministry will:

  • Accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Bringing others to know Christ is the foundation of our ministry. We were created to enjoy a personal relationship with Jesus, and apart from that, nothing else matters.
  • Grow in their faith and Christian character development. A personal relationship with Jesus does not end at salvation. Discipleship is a life long process of growing into Christ likeness.
  • Establish the priorities of prayer, Bible study, and Christian fellowship while associating with a local church.
  • Devote their lives in service to our Lord Jesus at home and abroad.

We will continue to emphasize ministries to youth, families, and the local church. At CHC we desire to minister to all who would desire a deeper relationship with Christ. Our camp setting is just the perfect place to start.

Prayer: Nothing is more awesome than watching God's power at work in the life of a young person. We have seen numerous examples of how Jesus can personally change lives with His power here at camp. It's not because of camp, or the camp setting, or the staff, or the volunteers, or the food, or the fellowship. It's because committed Christians associated with CHC have prayed and humbled themselves before God. Prayer is the work that goes into everything at CHC because we know that without God's power, very little can happen. CHC is always looking for prayer partners to join with us in this great ministry to youth. If you are interested in being part of our prayer letter/chain, please feel free to contact us or email us directly at twotim22@juno.com,
God Bless.

CHC is a Southern Baptist Ministry that reaches out to anybody. We do not seek to replace the local church , but to partner with it to advance God's Kingdom. We hold to the doctrinal statement found in: The Baptist Faith and Message.
