Rules

No weapons or drugs are to be brought.

All medicines are to be turned over to the CHC Health Dir. upon arrival for instructions.

DO NOT bring extra money or snacks. Snacks are given out each evening. Rules of Christian conduct are to be practiced at all times. i.e. treat others as you would want to be treated. No Smoking.

Once assigned to a cabin, the camper is NOT allowed in any other cabin. A general respect of camp property and other campers is expected.

No one is allowed to ring the Bell without permission as this is our main means of communication in normal and emergency times.

Campers are to be within sight, sound or knowledge of their counselor at all times. Other week-specific rules will be reviewed upon arrival.

CHC is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please review these rules before arriving. Campers sent home because of misconduct will do so at the cost of the parents without refund.

We discourage phone calls from parents. First, because of our busy schedule, the campers will end up missing out on important doings and second because it can induce home-sickness in those who would otherwise be fine. Thanks! Feel free to send letters, but probably not past Wednesdays as they wouldn’t get here in time.

At CHC we strive to provide a safe and fun environment. We are regulated and inspected at least twice yearly during the summer by the NY Dept of Health.
